Fiasco on stage - Photography By Aaron Gilliam
Conceptual Concerts are reigning in the snatch for a packed venue as the New Year brought beaucoup de talent to the Kodak Theatre stage. In fact, all of it - for the countdown that had our favorite, very in the public host, Mario Lopez shouting out the last ten of the old year.

The main attraction and primary focus of the evening; Lupe Fiasco walked the red line before getting on stage to stream pure vocal intensity through hits … “The Show Goes On,” “Out of My Head,” “Kick Push” … Catching in on an interview with AOL Music, Fiasco had quite a lot to say in one word when asked what he wants for the New Year.. “ReVoLuTioN” - which is what fans and VIP recieved when Lupe Fiasco brought hell to stage in a killer set reminiscent of Rage Against The Machine gone transcendental rap artist; in white kick-on Vans no less… Saturday’s performance was a rock concert as soon as Fiasco hit the stage; he puts on a show in a stolid, polished form of stage technique that clearly labels the established artist as not only a pro, a intense live performer as well.
Cobra Starship with DJ C-Squared
Cobra Starship was also out with Victoria’s lead (singer) in fashion technique perfect for not only red carpet, 2011 New Year’s Eve concert as well. “It’s all about L.A.” The guys were suited up, while female vocalist was in sequined one shoulder mini in studded up heals by Louise Goldin, and Lulu Guinness studded clutch. Their resolutions include becoming “More. Awesome, If that’s possible. Because we’re already pretty awesome.”

There were as many as ten DJs, although I had only clue to two, Connor Cruise - a la DJ C-Squared – who worked the Red Carpet and CBTL V.I.P. lounge. DJ Mystery who brought it forth in the theatre interludes with screen video accompaniment; in addition to the mix on stage in-band, there was an additional reason to go; electronic equalizers.
CBTL by Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf was perfecting the ‘One Touch. One Cup.” Coffee & Tea with Moroccan Mint & Chai as well as French Brew & House Decaf Coffee. Best friends you’ll ever have at a venue staff. They get things done if there’s ever a problem about anything, and when they sponsor, they sponsor. Everything was on the house, including The Sparkler and The Olifant, an alcoholic tea or coffee beverage along with CBTL prepped drinks.
Kate Mesta jewelry came out and actually brought some of her custom designed one of a kind pieces to give to VIP clients and celebrities in attendance.
Excel Catering provided two complimentary bars and a buffet line compliments of the Hotel Renaissance.
Big Bang New Years Eve was produced by Matthew Gavin, Listen Deep Lifestyle Group and Rock Mafia Productions.
