110 IN THE SHADE

Camarillo Skyway Playhouse is proud to open its inaugural season with the musical 110 IN THE SHADE. Music by Harvey Schmidt, Lyrics by Tom Jones, and Book by N. Richard Nash based on his play THE RAINMAKER. Three Point, Texas, July 1936. A small town in the midst of a terrible drought and a long stretch of scorching hot weather. Spinster Lizzie Curry returns to her family only to find Bill Starbuck, a conman proclaiming the ability to bring rain. Performances are Fridays & Saturdays at 8 PM, Sundays at 2 PM.
